Last week it was revealed that three of Weatherfield’s characters would be asking their respective love interests for their hands in marriage over the coming weeks – a summer of love indeed!

Fans already know that one of the proposals will involve Steve McDonald and Tracy Barlow, but now we can reveal that Daniel Osbourne and Sinead Tinker are couple number two.
Daniel asks Sinead to marry him
Sharing the spoiler with their followers across their social media platforms, the soap published images of Daniel down on one knee in front of Sinead, who looks stunned.
The scenes will air next week, and in the build up to Daniel popping the question, viewers will see Flora presenting him with his mother’s engagement ring and suggesting he take the next step with Sinead.

Taking Flora’s advice, Daniel goes around to surprise Sinead, but will she say yes?
It will be a big week for proposals, with Steve and Tracy’s scenes also to air next week. While Daniel may have put some thought and consideration into his proposal, Steve’s will be more spur of the moment.
Due to the World Cup, Coronation Street will air at different times this week. Catch hour-long episodes on ITV and TV3 on Tuesday, Thursday and Friday at 8pm.
