Jennifer Lopez gave dating advice to a Tinder user, and she said men are “useless” before this age

When Jennifer Lopez starred in The Wedding Planner, she was the woman behind the scenes, giving advice about vows, relationships, and centerpieces all day, every day. And now, it sounds like a little bit of her character, Mary Fiore, has followed her into real life. Lopez gave advice to a Tinder user recently, and it couldn’t have been more spot-on.
In a new video from Tinder’s “Swipe Sessions” series, Lopez sat down with a woman named Brooke Ansley to offer her some help finding a mate on the dating app. Brooke said she has only recently started to date online, and that she’s looking for a manly man. After Lopez took a look at Brooke’s profile, she gave her a few pointers.
Not only did Lopez help Brooke swipe through a few guys, but she also shared her thoughts on which guys would make a good partner and which wouldn’t.
After seeing a profile for a dude named Maurice, who is 29, she offered up some valuable advice: “Guys, until they’re 33, are really useless,” Lopez said. Not sure how valid that is for all guys under 33, but we have heard that men mature slower than women, so she could be onto something there.
She also let Brooke know which kinds of messages she should and should not be sending. For the record, “Can you chop wood?” is not a good question to ask someone who looks outdoorsy.
A guy named Levi, who bragged about how he can two-step, was Lopez’s favorite. She messaged him some of her lyrics, and he replied with a GIF of Lopez, which definitely made her love him even more.
The whole video is worth watching, and it might even help you out next time you’re swiping through the endless rotation of people you could end up hitting it off with. Now we need more insights from Lopez. Can she make this a regular thing?
