Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas are reportedly hosting an engagement party today, August 18. Ahead of the grand event, let us take a look at the advice Priyanka’s mom Madhu Chopra has for the couple.

Madhu Chopra’s advice for Priyanka and Nick

Priyanka Chopra and fiance Nick Jonas have been making headlines for a while now. There were reports that the two had got engaged in a private ceremony. While there was no confirmation on this development, PeeCee removing a diamond ring at the airport did suggest that the couple had gotten engaged. Amid these rumours Nick, on Thursday night, landed in Mumbai. 

If the latest reports are anything to go by, he is in the city for an engagement party, which will be hosted by Priyanka. And going by the couple’s recent public appearances, it does seem like these reports are true. 

Priyanka Chopra’s mom Madhu Chopra in an interview with Zoomtv.com  gave us a glimpse into her definition of a perfect marriage, which we think is very good advice for the couple. In the interview, talking about her own marriage with Priyanka’s father Ashok Chopra she stated that a marriage should be built brick by brick and every day should be like Valentines Day. 

In the interview, she further stated that the husband should be qualified enough to take care of his wife in health and happiness. Going back on her own marriage with Priyanka’s father she added that they don’t argue or fight but sit and listen to each other’s point of view. This is the perfect wedding lesson for the newly- engaged couple. She further added that these lessons have been instilled in Priyanka since a very young age.

Priyanka and Nick made their first public appearance at MET Gala 2017. Very shortly after that meeting, the rumours of two being in a relationship with each other started doing the rounds. In May this year, the couple went to Los Angeles for a vacation. In June, Nick came to India to reportedly meet Priyanka’s mom Madhu Chopra
