Ranveer Singh is the latest Bollywood actor to join the bandwagon of married men. After dating Deepika Padukone for over six years, the Befikre actor took the plunge last November when he tied the knot in an intimate ceremony in Italy. The lovebirds sealed the deal at the picturesque Villa Del Balbianello in Lake Como in the presence of family and close friends. The newlyweds are a perfect example of how opposite attract.
Deepika in a recent interview revealed that it was after the release of 2018 film Padmaavat that she decided to get married to Ranveer. While the newlyweds have been making people go weak in the knees with their interviews and social media PDA post marriage, their Padmaavat co-actor Shahid Kapoor has some marriage advice for Ranveer.
Recently, Shahid made an appearance on Karan Johar’s chat show with brother Ishaan Khatter. And the 37-year-old actor was asked about marriage advice that he would give to Ranveer Singh.
To which the Kaminey actor replied, “Love her like Ratan Rawal Singh loved Padmavati.”
Shahid Kapoor shared screen space with Deepika and Ranveer for the first time in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Padmaavat. The actor played Deepika’s on-screen husband.
When asked if he has kept in touch with Ranveer and Deepika after Padmaavat, Shahid said, “They were never a part of my friend circle.”
On the work front, Ranveer is awaiting the release of Gully Boy opposite Alia Bhatt. Shahid Kapoor, on the other hand, has begun shooting for Kabir Singh which is a remake of hit Telugu film Arjun Reddy. The film, which also stars Kiara Advani, is set to hit the screens in June 2019.
