Trap Glazed: What To Make Of Men Like Drake

Harris is a consenting adult, so if there is any truth to speculation that they pair are dating, Drake is operating within the confines of the law. But legality and morality aren’t the same thing. So it makes sense that the coupling has prompted more than forlorn cries of resentment. Online, eyebrows are raised and side eyes have been shot in the star’s direction. The gestures have only intensified since 14-year-old Millie Bobby Brown gushed to the world on the Emmys red carpet that she and the rapper are friends, and he texts her dating advice about boys. It’s a dream situation for the Stranger Things actress, because she’s a teenager and Drake is… freaking Drake! But for him, it’s… a little creepy. While the law draws a hard line in the sand about which relationships are okay and which ones aren’t, there are cultural codes that suggest Drizzy is in murky territory. I know it. The internet knows it. And I’m pretty sure Drake knows it, too.

Millie Bobby Brown defends friendship with Drake

Millie Bobby Brown has defended her friendship with Drake after her revelations about their text conversations received criticism online.

While on the red carpet at the Emmy Awards on Monday, the Stranger Things actress opened up about their friendship to Access Hollywood, saying he recently texted her saying “I miss you so much” and that he gives her dating advice.

Her comments raised eyebrows with social media users, who found it strange that a 14-year-old would be having such exchanges with a 31-year-old, and Millie has now defended their friendship.

“Why u gotta make a lovely friendship ur headline? U guys are weird… for real (sic),” she wrote in a note posted on her Instagram Stories. “Im lucky to have people in the business extend their time to help me further my career and offer their wisdom and guidance. Im very blessed to have amazing people in my life. U don’t get to choose that for me (sic).

“It’s nice to have people understand what I do. Now get back to talking about real problems in this world other than my friendships… jeez.”

In a second note, she thanked her supporters and sent them her love.

In her red carpet interview, Millie said, “I love him. I met him in Australia, and he’s honestly so fantastic. He’s a great friend and a role model. We just texted each other the other day and he was like, ‘I miss you so much,’ and I was like, ‘I miss you more.’”

She added that he gives her boy advice and she was excited to go see him when his tour stops in Atlanta, Georgia later this year. The actress films Stranger Things in the state.

The British star met the Hotline Bling rapper before he performed in Brisbane, Australia back in November and they shared photos of their encounter on social media.

David Duchovny, Sharon Stone, Jeff Daniels Give Bizarre Fan Advice on 'Colbert'

David Duchovny, Sharon Stone, Jeff Daniels, Simon Pegg, Helen Hunt and other celebrities offered strange advice to Late Show fans in a goofy bit from Thursday’s episode titled “Dear Famous People.” The pre-filmed piece featured a series of presumably fake letters and increasingly unhelpful answers the actors.

The first person wrote that he’s been dating a woman for six months but just recently learned she doesn’t want children. “Ed, having kids is one of the biggest responsibilities you could ever have,” Duchovny replied. “It’s the equivalent of owning, like, three ferrets.” Daniels, instead of answering such a “heavy question,” chose to tackle an answer one: ‘Are sandwiches good?’” he asked. “Yes, Ed, sandwiches are good.” Elsewhere, Wyatt Cenac suggested he bring home random children from the mall, and Henry Winkler recommended he raise a wolf instead.

Later, Pegg offered an elaborate scheme to help one fan convince a neighbor to mow their lawn. “Why don’t you mow his lawn for him at night when he’s asleep so that he starts to believe in what we call ‘grass fairies’ in the U.K., which are a mythical group of helpful young things that sort of fix your garden for you. He then might start telling people about it; he’ll get committed and have to leave the house, in which case you can move in and have two properties. So everybody wins.”

Duchovny, fittingly, recommended letting a ferret loose in the person’s house. Stone’s advice? Murder the neighbor with an ice pick.
