KEM Cetinay admitted he went for “the most attractive” girl when he dated Amber Davies in Love Island – but it was the wrong decision.

The reality TV champ made the confession as he dished out dating advice to Carol Vorderman on ITV’s Lorraine today.

When she asked Kem, 22, about being in Love Island, where he met Amber, he said: “I thought it was going to be the perfect relationship.

“You kind of want someone to always show you attention but then you realise you can be alright on your own.

“I used to go for the girl who I thought was the most attractive, but after a certain amount of time you realise that there isn’t anything there.

“I realised what my mum said was right, ‘Don’t judge a book by its cover.'”

Kem and Amber were instantly attracted to each other, and became the second couple to have sex in the villa ten days into Love Island.

The pair had an on/off coupling for a few weeks before settling down and becoming official boyfriend and girlfriend.

They cruised into the final and said they were in love and looking forward to being together when they left the villa.

After a 90-minute final and an emotional declaration of love during the last episode, the pair were crowned winners of the series.

Carol Vorderman has made a show about looking for love, called My Single Life

Kem told The Sun he was hoping to marry Amber after falling head over heels for her.

However, the pair split after just 132 days of dating.

Carol has been married twice – to Christopher Mather for a year between 1985 and 1986 and with Patrick King from 1990 to 2000.

She’s bagged her own reality show titled My Single Life, which will follow single women in their 50s and their time spent finding Mr Right, or enjoying freedom as older women.

Speaking about the show, Carol said: “Some women might want three or four on the go at the same time, and some might not want anybody.”

Talk soon turned to her own love life however, and the ex Countdown host admitted she has dated a string of toyboys recently.

Sculpting aside, all of that advice could work, but ultimately, deciding when to move on from a relationship is a personal choice, says dating coach Natalia Juarez. “How long it takes for you to be ready to move on depends on a few different circumstances,” she says. If you’re the one who broke things off, then it’s likely that you’ve been checked out of the relationship for a while. So it might not take much time for you to “move on” because you haven’t been hurt. But, if you were the person who was broken up with, then recovering from the heartbreak might take more time. And, it’ll take a lot of reflection, says Chloe Carmichael, PhD, a licensed clinical psychologist. “We naturally are prone to go by our hearts, but sometimes it actually helps a lot to take a step back and use our heads to think strategically about what’s really going to be the best thing for us,” she says.

Mille Bobby Brown says she has formed a great friendship with Drake. According to the Stanger Things actress, the pair communicates through text messages quite often. Some of their interactions involve boys: the rapper schools the kid on romantic relationships.

Although the young actor seems pleased with the guidance she receives, Millie is coy about the details of the wisdom the rapper shares with her. The 14-year-old would rather keep that information private: “That stays in the text messages.”

She did, however, affirm how tight they are.

“We just texted each other the other day. He was like, ‘I miss you so much,’ I was like, ‘I miss you more.'”

Millie had already opened up about their relationship earlier this year.

“He’s just a great person. We met in Australia, and he asked me to go to his show, and it was probably the best live performance I’ve ever seen…You think he’s like Drake like, ‘I know when that Hotline Bling’, but he’s just Drake and he’s great. I have great people around me guiding me through this and he’s one of them.”

Drake’s love life seems slightly wonky from the outside. The advice he shares is hopefully based on lessons learned. 

Drake is no stranger to dating in Hollywood, so it should come as no surprise that the rapper had some knowledge to share with his friend, Stranger Things actress Millie Bobby Brown.

Appearing on the red carpet at the 2018 Emmy Awards on Monday (Sept. 17), the 14-year-old actress called Drizzy a great friend and role model and revealed the two actually text each other. As for the advice Drake gives Brown, she says it’s about dating boys, but wouldn’t give the exact details of their messages, adding, “That stays in the text messages.”

According to the actress, the two first met in Australia and have been friends ever since. “We just text each other the other day. He was like, ‘I miss you so much,’ I was like, ‘I miss you more!'” she said.

While the Scorpion rapper wasn’t at the Emmys, Drizzy did hangout with Brown during a 2018 Golden Globes afterparty. The two also got to chill at one of Drake’s concerts when the rapper invited her and her family backstage.

“This moment was amazing. I was in his dressing room with my whole family,” she said. “He invited me to his dressing room and was like, ‘Just wanna say hi!’ and I was like, ‘Oh, my God.’ He was having a fangirl moment. Or a fanboy moment. I was having a fangirl moment. A whole moment. And I’ll never forget it. It was a Drake moment.”
